I currently work at Canopius, an insurance company, and I am part of a team that offers business to business insurance against insolvency and non payment of receivables. My job is to assess and forecast industry, country and company financial performance. This is a new team so on top of my day job I have to set up processes and systems to support our work. This has also made to learn about many challenges and rewards of a start-up team.

I previously worked at AIG for 6 years and have looked after clients in Sweden, UK, US, Asia. The type of work I have means that I never know which country I will be looking at tomorrow. In addition to my daily job I like to start new projects or participate in existing ones.

It’s important that mentee is engaged. As long as they are engaged and committed to the programme everything else will sort itself out. By the end of the programme I would like my mentee to become more independent, free thinking and ambitious.
